Apa Itu Phimosis?

It is a condition in which the foreskin of the penis that covers the head of the penis cannot be pulled back.

Phimosis can sometimes cause foreskin bleeding, inflammation and irritation. phimosis of the foreskin of the penis often occurs when the patient is urinating. Indications for phimosis patients to get medical treatment are if there is swelling, infection and difficulty urinating

Smegma is a collection of whitish discharge in the foreskin of the penis. Sometimes it smells

In mild phimosis conditions (no swelling, no pain in urinating, no bloating when urinating) the patient does not need special treatment

In severe phimosis conditions (often swollen foreskin, pain when urinating, foreskin bloating when urinating, bleeding when urinating, difficulty urinating, pain during erection, foreskin stuck in the neck of the penis) requires medical treatment

Treatment options for phimosis are gentle manual retraction of the foreskin, steroid ointments, or circumcision (removing the skin of the foreskin of the penis causing phimosis and recurrent inflammation)
