Overweight and Have a Difficulty to Have Circumcision Procedure

Experience in our clinic for several years, found several cases of overweight/obese children whose genitals were small and embedded in belly fat.  This condition is called buried penis and hypogonads. In these conditions, if the child is planned to be circumcised, the results are not good

In general, we recommend some tips so that the buried/hypogonadal condition improves

1. Exercise and diet

From our experience with overweight children when exercising and reducing daily calorie intake.  Regularly for several months.  When the child is slim, the penis can be bigger and more prominent.  So it is more suitable to get medical circumcision

2. Hormonal therapy 

Hormonal therapy may be an option for children with buried penis/hypogonads.  Several hormonal injections with the recommendation of a pediatrician.
